Macwood PSB automatic
locking bolts are the pneumatic
equivalent of an electrical
solenoid bolt, however with significant advantages
over their electrical counterparts. PSB locking
bolts will have a minimum force of 50N to retract
the bolt in the event of an air failure, in normal
operation this will be in excess of 200N.
All bolts are operated by spring and air pressure.
The PSB range includes units designed to lock
doors with rails (pin bolt) and to lock rail-less glass
doors (fork bolt), (suitable for less-secure access
control doors). Units are available to suite single
or pairs of doors.
 - PSB bolts can be integrated with most access
control readers and exit switches.
- Bolts can be linked to the fire alarm, to unlock
upon activation of the fire alarm.
- Break Glass.
