Safety

By definition a low energy door operator, when opening a door, will not exceed 1.6 joules of kinetic energy which is the safe maximum specified by BS 7036 part 4. The safety sensor mounted on the push side will automatically re-open a closing door.

Doors fitted with a Macwood 'UFSO' operator can always be opened manually. They function as a normal hydraulic damped door closer which, in the event of a power failure is an essential feature.

Operator Options

• Single action automatic /manual operation.
• Single action assisted opening.
• 'Fly-Open' for smoke ventilation, air pressure relief and escape (open on fire alarm).
• Incorporation of PSB locking bolts integrated with the access control (where door widths allow).

The UFSO135 operator is suitable for new or existing internal doors - see right for installation options.

Activation

Switch options include a range of push buttons, touch sensitive handles (for power assistance), remote controls and most access control switches including fobs, card readers, key pads and biometric readers.  A fully automatic option is also available.

Pivot Options

• Suitable for centre pivoted doors.
• Off Set Pivoted doors.
• Hinged doors (for use with an off set strap).

Threshold Options

• Standard - Ribbed aluminium.
• 28mm tray to take floor finish.
