'Fly Open' Smoke Ventilation & Escape Systems
Woodwood Door Controls has a wide selection of ‘Fly-Open’ door operators to open doors in the event of a fire alarm to allow fresh ‘make up’ air to replace extracted smoke filled air and to facilitate escape.
‘Fly-Open’ door operators can either be normally operate as manual door or provide automatic opening to provide easy access to help meet the requirements of the Disabled Discrimination Act (DDA).
‘Fly-Open’ door operators are available to be mounted above the door or under floor. We are also able to supply a basic Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) which releases a door on fire alarm which has to be manually re-set. We also have a unique operator which will open a double action manual door outwards upon activation of fire alarm
All our pneuamtic units may be configured to provide "Fly-Open" function.
